Kitty0706 was the YouTube alias of Colin Wyckoff, a young Garry's Mod animator whose comedic Team Fortress 2 machinima shorts pulled tens of millions of views between 2009 and 2014. Wyckoff died of leukemia in January 2015 at age 20, and years later the TF2 community rebuilt his most popular video, Team Fabulous 2, as a hundred-animator tribute that raised over $22,000 for leukemia research.

Overview

The Kitty0706 channel built its audience around Team Fortress 2 characters, especially the Heavy, dropped into absurd everyday sitcom scenarios that ranged from bowling nights to getting sucked inside a Valve game1. Wyckoff animated everything inside Garry's Mod, using video game crossovers and the loose sketch humor typical of late-2000s YouTube6.

Wyckoff's most popular video, Team Fabulous 2, put the TF2 mercs on the community mario_kart map and turned the whole scene into a chaotic multi-class brawl set to pop music2. The short passed 25 million views on YouTube by August 2020, keeping it his best-known upload years after his death7.
