The Rizz Chin Up Prank is a TikTok trend where someone pretends to read a person's palm before sliding their hand up to gently touch their chin in a flirtatious move. It started in late 2022 as a playful test of someone's 'unspoken rizz,' typically set to DeJ Loaf's 'Me U & Hennessy' featuring Lil Wayne.

Overview

The Rizz Chin Up Prank is a flirtatious TikTok bit where the pranker approaches a classmate, coworker, or stranger under the guise of reading their palm, then slides that same hand up to cup or graze the target's chin2. The trick was framed as a test of the toucher's 'unspoken rizz,' the platform's slang for charisma, and a positive reaction from the target supposedly certified the toucher as a 'Rizz God'3.

Variants of the format expanded fast. Some creators skipped the palm read and just smacked a hand on the wall behind their target for a lean-in, while others added a near-kiss finish1. The audio that defined the trend was 'Me U & Hennessy' by DeJ Loaf featuring Lil Wayne, a track TikTokers were already pairing with flirt-attempt content earlier in 20225.

The chin move built on a hand-on-the-wall setup TikToker @saigefunnyguy had introduced on September 20, 2022, using the text overlay 'how i'm tryna be w you.' That earlier video hit roughly 3.2 million plays and 620,400 likes in two months1.

How It Spread

@saigefunnyguy kept the format alive with a September 22, 2022 sequel that reached about 4.2 million plays and 561,100 likes, and imitators followed within days1. On September 27, 2022, @1kluvethan posted a version that racked up around 13.4 million plays and 2.4 million likes in two months4.

The chin-touch move specifically took off after @phillipbaynesjr's October clips, and copycat videos flooded TikTok For You Pages2. The trend produced a small discourse moment in mid-October 2022 when TikToker brendan_24__ filmed a classmate who appeared to cry after the chin move, though brendan_24__ posted a follow-up clarifying the person was laughing, not upset3.

By late 2023, creators were pairing the chin-up bit with the Juju Walk, stacking two viral moves into a single attempt at pulling off flawless rizz3.

How to Use This Meme

A typical Rizz Chin Up Prank starts with the pranker walking up to someone, usually a classmate, and asking to see their hand. After a beat of fake palm reading, the same hand lifts to the target's chin in a slow, flirty motion. Common sound choice is 'Me U & Hennessy' by DeJ Loaf featuring Lil Wayne, and creators often add text overlay framing the clip as a rizz test1.
