"Rob Lived the Perfect Life" is a four-panel Mr. Lovenstein webcomic in which a man named Rob almost enters heaven before God recalls that he once laughed at a 9/11 meme, then flashes back fifty years to Rob whispering "I'm going to hell for this." Posted to Reddit in January 2018, it became a plug-and-play exploitable that hit peak virality in March 2019 with a Super Mario 64 edit.
Overview
The Rob Lived the Perfect Life template runs on a bait-and-switch. God greets Rob at the pearly gates, praises his life, then names one specific transgression that damns him, and the comic snaps back to the exact moment Rob committed it, always closing on the same "I'm going to hell for this" line1.
