On August 10, the zoo revealed her name, selected from options including Moo Sap ("minced pork"), Moo Daeng ("red pork"), and the winner Moo Deng4. Zookeeper Atthapon Nundee, who had been running the Facebook page "Ka Moo and the Gang" for about five years, began documenting Moo Deng's daily antics with creative captions and engaging videos7.
